Furthermore, the Nigeria Police Academy Wudil- Kano State, is a degree–awwarding institution and the National Universities Commission, accordingly, recognized the Academy as the thirty-seven (37th) Federal University and the one hundred and twenty-fourth ( 124th) University in Nigeria.

The Commandant, Nigeria Police Academy, Assistant Inspector General of Police, Ahmad Abdurrahman, psc (+), mni and the Management have observed with keen interest and concern the challenges faced by some applicants on the issue of HEIGHT as embedded in the NIMC database.

The Academy wishes to announce that applicants with such issues may resume and continue with their online application on 29th August 2023 as the screening exercise for the validation of the approved HEIGHT for male and female applicants will be done PHYSICALLY on a date to be announced by the Management.

How to check POLAC shortlisted candidates

Predict your result now. Candidates who applied for POLAC admission application and sat for the examination are expected to visit the institution’s portal via Polac Admission Portal to check their admission list. You can also meet with Polac aspirants on Passbuttons to share more information about the process.  

Note: Any shortlisted candidate who doesn’t show up for an interview will automatically lose admission into the institution. It is, therefore, very important you know the admission requirements for the Polac Screening exercise and you need to regularly check this portal to get updated.

Polac Screening Exercise requirement:

• Writing materials
• Print out of Jamb slip 2022
• Acknowledgment Slip
• Print out of the Attestation Form from the Parent
• Print out of the L.G. Certification Form dully signed by the Chairman

Polac General Screening Exercise Requirement

1. Parents/Guardians will not be allowed into the Academy
2. Candidates who fail to report a day after reporting dates for their respective batch will not be allowed to attend the interview.
3. Candidates will first undergo screening exercises which involve credentials screening, medical tests and physical features among others.
4. Candidates must bring along the originals and photocopies of the following documents:
5. Academic certificates/statements of results and testimonials for primary and secondary schools (Junior and Senior).
6. Birth Certificate (preferable) or Declaration of Age.
7. Proof of Local Government of origin duly signed by the Chairman of the Local Government. Attestation obtained from Police Officers from the same State of the rank of Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) and above.
8. In this case, the officer must indicate his formation/unit, appointment, contact address, phone number and e-mail address. The officer must also affix his/her formation/unit stamp and sign
9. Original UTME (JAMB) result slip 2022
10. Police Academy examination forms downloaded from the Internet.
11. Candidates are to bring along a second copy of their postcard signed by the Supervisor or the Assistant Supervisor of the Centre where they sat for the selection examination.
12.  Proof of choosing Police Academy as First Choice
13. Candidates who fail to bring along with the documents listed above will be disqualified.
14. Any alteration to the documents will attract outright disqualification.
15. Candidates are to also bring the following items:
16. Two blue shorts and Two white T-Shirts.
17. Pair of white canvas shoes and 2 pairs of white socks.
18. Face mask
19. Sufficient money for Feeding, and transport to and from Wudil.
20. Scratch Cards for WAEC and/or NECO or NABTEB results for online verification of results.
21. All and sundry are warned that no correspondence of any form will be entertained in respect of the candidates or the selection process.
22. While assuring the candidates, and their parents/guardians of transparent screening, the Commandant advised them to be wary of scammers and not to offer any kind of financial incentive or otherwise to anybody in desperation to secure admission for their wards.
