How to Check WAEC GCE Results Online

Candidates who participated in the WAEC GCE examination can check the result online by following these steps.  You can now make money by uploading past questions and answers or by answering questions online.

1. Visit the WAEC result-checking portal via waecdirect.org
2. Get support from experts or fellow students on passsbuttons
3. Enter your 10-digit WAEC Examination Number.  (This is your 7-Digit centre number followed by your 3-digit candidate number eg. 4123456789)
4. Enter the 4 digits of your Examination Year eg. 2024
5. Select the Type of Examination  i.e. PRIVATE CANDIDATE RESULT
6. Enter the Card Serial Number found on the reverse side of your Scratch card.
7. Enter the Personal Identification Number (PIN) on your Scratch card
8. Click Submit and wait for the results window to come up.

PS: The result checker PIN and Serial Number needed to check your result online are contained on your Smart Identity Card used during the conduct of the examination.

How to Check WAEC GCE  Result By SMS

For the candidate to check his or her, the student must have the result checker PIN and Serial Number contained on his or her Smart Identity Card issued to you during the conduct of the examination.  Should you want to check your 2024 WAEC GCE result via SMS, use the shortcode format given below:

WAEC*ExamNo*PIN*ExamYear To short-code 32327 (MTN, Airtel & Glo subscribers). For example -: WAEC*4250101001*123456789012*2013

Note: Ensure you adhere strictly to the format above. There should be no space in the message.

Wait for your result to be delivered to your phone via SMS. (SMS Cost N30 Only)

Caution: You can only use your result checker 5 times, so be wise!

5. Select the subject you want to predict
6. Add the subject and click predict.
